Pistachios are one of the traditional exporting agricultural products of Iran with 900 million US dollars of civil annual profitability, are ranked the first non-petroleum exporting items.

Owing to hygienic consideration as well as aflatoxin decontamination affairs ,application of restricted regulations for harvesting, processing & exporting of pistachios have been recommended .As a result the procedures is carried out by means of thoroughly sanitary facilities in order to facilitate the exporting trend.
